Meet Jaime

Hello Friend! Welcome to Seeking God with Jaime Wiebel

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Seeking God.

Hello and welcome to my about page. I have to warn you before we get started that my about is mostly not about me but how God has been about me.

You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

My name is Jaime and in 2014 I added blogger to my list of to-dos. At the time I had no idea what I was getting into. I actually didn’t have a computer or any social media accounts. I did not have an internet connection at my house and didn’t even know what a blog was. (This was probably best 😉 )

God didn’t care about all of those things and kept laying on my heart to move into this blogging world.

Wow! God continues to amaze me. When God asks you to move into what seems like the impossible, He makes it possible.
Wanting to be obedient to Him moving me in ministry, I told Him I was willing but He had to connect me. And wouldn’t you believe it? He was willing to move me right into the unknown.

God Moves His People

God has moved His people in many ways especially when they are willing. Learning more about Jesus and His heart for His people has inspired me to dive into this ministry. I love being able to share and teach people about God. This space has helped make that possible beyond what I could imagine.
Teaching has always been something that I have loved and this has been a great transition from the public school. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I was teaching in the public school and have taught from kindergarten through middle school.
This is my husband and I with the kiddos have a day out exploring our home state!

I have been married to a fantastic man for 12 years and we have three beautiful children. What we like doing most of all is just hanging out as a family.

God has taught me many things along the way but mostly has taught me to depend on Him for my everything.
Whether I am being a mom, wife, writer, friend, or teacher, I need to be doing it all for His glory.

My Hope in Christ

You may have guessed it, I don’t always do it perfectly, in fact, sometimes, I just plain don’t do it well. But I have hope. I have a Christ who is willing to change me and make me who He wants me to be. Praise the Lord!

As long as God continues to able me, I will continue to do His work. I will continue to pursue Him as much as He has pursued me.

I don’t pretend to have all the answers but I know I have a Lord willing to teach me.  So glad we are a constant work in progress. I love that our creator will take us right where we are and use us for His glory. Writing here gives me a sense of accountability. Sometimes that can be a bit scary, but I know that God wants me to have a heart seeking Him.

Blessed

God has blessed me in so many ways and I love having the opportunity to share with other believers and people that are searching for a little bit of heaven’s grace to come down and touch their lives. It has been encouraging to share my stories and have the feedback from family and friends like you. I look forward to meeting you in the comment box.
If we could we would sit down together. We would talk about life and of course, life with Jesus, because He has come to give us this life abundantly and what a better than to encourage each other through it.
I have been blessed that you have invited me into the walls of your hearts and spill over that grace that I have been so generously given. Thank you!
I pray for you as I write and pray that God will continue to use me to reach into your lives.
May God Bless each and every one of you and Happy Reading!

5 Fun Facts

One of my favorite places to be is around water. I love going to the lake in the summer.

Even though my favorite place to live is by my family. My favorite place to play and live, by far, has been Hawaii. I lived there for one-year teaching kindergarten through 2nd grade, special education.

I love to cook. It gives me time alone to process what I have been learning in my Bible study and gives me a great chance to talk with God. I love to collect cookbooks and pretend that I can cook all the wonderful things in the pictures.

I love sitting down and visiting with people about God’s Word. That inspired me to start Sitting Among Friends Blog Party. Where I could invite my friends to do just that.

I love creating. I have tried many adventures including handmaking jewelry and sewing purses and bags. This is where my email and original blog name stemmed from. You can further reach me at youresewtrendy@gmail.com

I would love for you to stick around awhile and read part of my testimony here.

Blessings

What I love most is your ability to voice your love for God and His graciousness to all men. So many people are reluctant to say I love the Lord now it seems.

Thanks for you boldness as a Christian

Living a life for Christ was never intended on being easy. If fact, we are to die to ourselves daily and take up our crosses. I can only express the Love that has been so graciously poured out on me. You have given me great encouragement today Linda, glad to be connecting with you!
