The Beginner’s Bible
When my little boy turned three, we bought him The Beginner’s Bible. It was so excited to be turning through the pages of his very own Bible.
We read this book every single day and he wanted to, “keep reading, keep reading.”
That is why I was so excited that the Blog About Network asked me to review The Beginner’s Bible for a free copy of it and a copy to give away to one of my readers. I only offer my honest review and honestly, this is one of my favorites.
The first week we read through the whole thing and it captivated him. It became one of his favorite things to read at every nap time.
I remember literally spending hours pouring over those pages. He couldn’t seem to get enough of those stories. I had to read story after story and he would request one added another. It was such a fantastic way to give him a love for scripture at such a young age.
Those days are a bit gone but the memories and time, I will treasure in my heart. Today, he says his favorite book is the Holy Bible and has graduated to the NIV Adventure Bible, where we are currently reading through the book of Luke so that we can delve deep into the birth of Jesus.
If you have a little in your life and looking for a Bible to get, this is perfect. Developing a love for reading at a young age is so important. Giving them the gift of hearing about the greatest story ever told, God’s love and rescue for His people, is a priceless gift.
What a great gift
I am so excited to review what has been one of our families favorite children’s Bible. The Beginner’s Bible from Zondervan has been newly updated with new pictures that are bright, look more 3 dimensional and bring the stories to life.
Not a story has been left out of this classic children’s Bible so you will not be disappointed when turning to your favorites like David and Goliath, Daniel and the Lion’s Den, or Jonah and the Whale. (my kids’ favorites, the one they ask to read time and time again)
With over 25 million copies sold, there is a good reason this has been a family favorite. The stories are told in a way the littlest learner can capture God’s story and begin to hide these truths in the hearts.
I have also used this Bible in many children’s classes that I have taught because the stories as just the right length to give a good foundation of the story and the pictures are exciting and brilliant and keep the little reader’s attention.
I would recommend this Bible to anyone with small children from the littlest listener to around age 8. It will give them an early hunger for God’s Word and help them learn all their favorite Bible stories. From the champions of faith like Noah and Joseph to the lady that shows great faith in her act of giving to God her last two coins.
As soon as my little girl found out we had a copy she wanted to put it in her backpack and take it with her and I know you have a little in your life that would love to do the same.
SO… It’s time for you to win a copy!
