This week I had the opportunity to read the new book by Author Erin Wiedmann. This series is called Bible Belle’s The Adventures of Rooney Cruz. This is an original series to connect girls to their inner beauty learning about several Belle’s of the Bible.
This particular book is the story of Esther the Belle of Patience. Rooney Cruz is a young girl who plays soccer.
When a girl on her team tries to take all the glory, Rooney gets upset.
Mari, Rooney’s angel sidekick, teaches Rooney the importance of waiting, patience, God’s timing, and prayer through the story of Esther.
This children’s book is a series for a young girl to help them find their way and place throughout the Bible.
I did enjoy some of the features of this book. The illustrations were bright and fun. The author took a different approach to telling the story as if viewing it through a window. It is part of a series to draw your young reader into other Bible characters.
Overall, I would give this book a 4 out of 5 stars.
