The conversation went like this…
Then came the kicker…
Friends, there is good news. There is hope. We can have that hope in Jesus.
Here’s How: You can pray this prayer.
Dear God, I know that I am a sinner. I ask for you to forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the dead. I want to trust and give my life to you. I want to follow you as Lord and Savior of my Life. Lord, guide me and help me to do your will in my life. In your Name, Amen!

Every week, Christa has something new to teach me about being a blogger. This week I was so impacted by her post. She discussed the sad loss of her friend and the role she had in online ministry. Christa, as always encouraged us in our walk with Christ and how to incorporate that into an online ministry. She talks about leaving a legacy with our families so they see us not just sitting as our computer but know how we are serving Christ. Thank you so much, Christa. I am happy to call you friend!

Kids come up with the most profound and important questions sometimes. I feel like my post today touches on the "brevity of life" but I'm so glad you've reminded people where they can spend their eternity if they receive Christ as their Savior, Jaime. Powerful post, my friend!
Jaime Wiebel says
Thanks so much for coming over every week. I love having you and enjoying visiting your place. I think my kids keep me grounded. They make me realize sometimes what I should be more like as a follower of Christ!

Absolutely- from the mouths of babes! Thanks for giving us all a place here to share that same good news in our own unique ways. You are a very gracious and inspiring hostess Jaime! ♥ And I love Christa's blog– found her here not too long ago! Have a wonderful Wednesday! Great links and resources today! I'll be sharing!

From the mouths of babes. What has been striking such great conversation around our house has been the dinner time devotions. The kids have been loving it and I love that time with filling their minds with the truth of God's Word!

Kids…eh? I guess we all do have an expiration date, glad I don't know mine. But, I'm ready. I prayed that prayer a long time and then went "all in" in 1992. I've never looked back! Thank you for the linkup.
Jaime Wiebel says
Expiration Date for sure on this earth. My kids have been asking all week about heaven. What a great conversation starter. I am with you, I am glad I don't know my own date. It is best left to a Sovereign God! Thanks for stopping by every week, Susan!

I think we do in the things we do on this planet. I am starting to learn at work that the way I did things and was trained doesn't vibe with what was going on in today's world. That age, wisdom and experience are not valued with be cool, hip and knowing the buzz words. It brings up friction but I say a prayer that I can adapt as the younger generation doesn't.
Thanks for hosting and have a great week.
Jaime Wiebel says
Those prayers that we can pull out of our pockets, relying on God for every situation can get us through the day. The world is an ever changing place. I wonder what it will be like when my kids grow up. Crazy to think about. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your work with us here!

Ravi Zacharias says that one of the foundation stones the enemy is attacking in our day is the concept of eternity. Oh, how blessed we are to know that we have eternal life in Jesus!
Jaime Wiebel says
I just wonder what people think will happen after they leave this world. Obviously everyone dies. Then what? I want to know where I am going. I love being able to have the confidence in Christ and Him alone. We are truly blessed. Glad you are here, Elizabeth!

We learn so much as we spend time with our children. Enjoyed the pondering over expiration dates which led to realizing we have eternity before us if we turn to Jesus for salvation. My adult son is home for a week on vacation (he now lives across the country from us) and we have had some great discussions. I had him read my latest blog post and give me feedback.
Jaime Wiebel says
For so many years, I taught kids programs. What I love was their enthusiasm and certainty when it came to learning about and loving God. To them it seemed like a no-brainer. It can be truly contagious. That is great to hear about the conversations with you son and having him see the legacy you are leaving with your own site. What a great way to get them involved.

Children seem to have such an easy time talking about tough topics and sharing Jesus with others. No wonder Jesus used children as an example of faith. They speak freely because they aren't burdened by guilt for asking questions. I want to be more like that.
Jaime Wiebel says
I have been thinking about this idea a lot lately. I had just been reading how God loved the kids so much and the disciples were fighting over who was greater and He pulls out a kids. Does He ever seize to amaze? I am with you, I want to be more like that.

Great to be reminded of the hope we have in Him! Inspiration in the expiration… awesome! Thanks for sharing—stopping by from #FaithFilledFriday 🙂
Jaime Wiebel says
I love that line. Inspiration in the Expiration. We have told our kids about wanting to be in heaven and they are still quite confused. I reassured them it is okay to feel that way and someday, God will get them to a place where they understand. Until then we just keep plugging His Life into their hearts. Have a great week and thanks for stopping by, Laura.

Thanks for laying out the Gospel so clearly. One thing we have been teaching our six-year-old lately is that eternal life is "to know You the only true God and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." John 17:3.Thanks for sharing at the #LMMLinkup.
