Ellie Claire Coloring Journals
In the next couple of weeks, I am going do a Gifts to Remember Series. I will be sharing with you some of my favorite Bible products I have recently received for review. The great part is that a couple of these are already our family favorites so I am glad to be bringing them to you. All materials were provided for my honest review. I only review things I am interested in and think that you would be as well.
The products I have today, I am so excited to share with you. They are the new Ellie Claire Coloring Journals. For quite some time, I have admired the drawings and sketches that I see people do in their Bible journaling time.
But I have this block. I think that I have to be an amazing art student to take part.
These Ellie Claire Coloring Journals are going to reboot your brain on that thought. Because they are not only giving you space to journal but are teaching you the beautiful art techniques along the way.
I grew up with the impression that you should not write or do anything with your Bible except read it and carry it to church with you. I have the Bible I had growing up and I have one verse written in the back. Yes, I know, I’m a rule breaker. It is Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
What is so vital to our faith is that we have assurance.
Without assurance, we strive to work for our redemption. It becomes an endless uphill battle that we can’t win. Journaling in God’s Word helps us to memorize verses, give our creative worship to God and meditate on it deeply.
One of the great things about journaling in God’s Word is that it becomes this conversation you have with God. God is a creative God and has created creative people. Sometimes it only requires the proper techniques and ideas for our creativity to flow.
Just a few weeks ago as I was studying Daniel and I read the prayer of Nebuchadnezzar. Next to it I made a heart and wrote transformation because I love seeing the transformations of people’s heart. That was nothing complex but my heart was praising God when I wrote it because He shares such amazing things with us in His Word.
Now as I turn through the pages of Daniel, I can be quickly reminded of the heart transformation that took place and I reminded of great verses to go back and meditate on.
Ellie Claire Brings Out Your Creativity
Ellie Claire delivers for someone like me. I am learning how to do elaborate letters with flourishes. I know, I can hardly believe it myself. Now, I am really able to appreciate the artistic detail that went into greatly detailed scrolls. Now with Ellie Claire Coloring Journals, I don’t have to sit back and just admire it. I am learning techniques to dive in and create those things myself.
I am going to share each one individually and highlight the points that I like about them. the reason I am going to do each of them separately is that they each have unique features that are just beautiful.
These journals would make a great gift for any time of the year but certainly would be a great gift to remember.
Overall, I absolutely love all three of these journals.
Illuminate Your Story
Illuminated letters at one time flourished on the pages of books, Bibles and scrolls. Artists would carefully add the details and flourishes to enrich the already beautiful words on the pages. With Illuminate Your Story, you, too, can adorn the pages of your journals, Bibles, and planners.

Faith and Lettering Journal
This is the most modern of the three journals. I love the bright colors that are on the front cover and all throughout in all the hand-lettered verses. I would also say this is my favorite of the three but the one that seems the most complicated.
Giving our worship through creative journaling doesn’t have to feel complicated or overwhelming or that we simply can’t do it. These journals have opened up a whole new opportunity for my worship and time in the word. I am so excited to use these more and develop the more technical side of creative journaling without all the pressure for it to be perfect.
