I recently for Christmas got two "adult" coloring books. I love being able to just let my mind wander into a project and be free to just go where it takes me. It is also why I love cooking, it is a break for my mind to just be free.

I have enjoyed many years of sewing for myslef and my kids, making quilts, accessories, purses, wallets, and so many hoe decor items, it is such a rewarding experience to make something from nothing.

Sewing seems like a thing for specialty people these days instead of out of necessity like generations in the past. I can't tell you how many new clothes I have bought that have needed some mending. A machine does come in handy. I wish I had more time for that.
