How excited I was to open this box to a pair of socks. (One of my favorite things by the way!) And I couldn’t have been more excited when I read the inscription on the bottom of the socks. SEND ME! Yes, SEND ME!

From one of my favorite passages from Isaiah. Isaiah is in the presence of the Lord and the Lord says, “Whom shall I send.” Isaiah knew his heart’s condition and so did God. He called his sin what it was. He realized he was a complete mess in the presence of the Lord.
Isaiah’s response is so amazing. I love his willingness to go. He replies, “Here I am. Send Me!” Isaiah 6
Here I am, Lord. Send Me! Now I can go in style and in purpose.
