Sorry this is late. With being sick I am getting this greeting out a little late but the message is never late. Please enjoy.

Merry Christmas to all our friends and family,
As we go through this Christmas season that we love for so many reasons, we want to send our warmest wishes. This time of year, we cherish the time that we get to spend with family we don’t always get to see, our time at home with our kids, and filling up on delicious food we spare ourselves from the rest of the year. Most importantly, we get to celebrate the birth and life of our beloved, Jesus.
When I saw these Christmas cards, it brought tears to my eyes. I remembered the first time Scott and I held our first born son. The feelings of tenderness you have in your eyes and the delicate way you hold your child so close to your heart; a heart that is filled with the anticipation and anxiousness of an unforeseen future. A heart filled with the amazing and overwhelming love you never knew or felt with anyone before.
As I look at the picture of Mary and Joseph, I try to imagine the stir of emotions they both must have been feeling as new parents and yet the one thing that I can’t fathom is what it must have been like staring at the face of GOD in their newborn son. The One that they had been waiting for, the One their parents had told stories of, and the One that they were longing deep in their hearts for, was finally here. The angels sang out, the shepherds fell to their faces in worship, the wise men traveled from far to see this Jesus, their newborn son. The angel Gabriel said to Mary, “He shall be called Emmanuel”, meaning GOD with us.
Here we are some 2000 years later, still celebrating the birth of this Christmas Miracle. John 3:17 says God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.
As you think of the gifts you receive this year please know that the gift that GOD sent us in Jesus is a free gift to anyone who wants to take it. This gift gives you an eternal life of Hope and Freedom in Him. That overwhelming and deep love can still be felt today. The same love that Mary and Joseph must have felt on that first Christmas day. In John 10:10, Jesus said, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly” and in Romans 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me”. If you want that gift all you have to do is take it and it’s yours.
Dear friends and family, during this Christmas season we pray that you may experience the fullness of life that GOD offers you through Christ Jesus.
We love you all very much and hope that you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
