We do have a tendency to compare ourselves to other humans. As believers, we are compared only to Christ, so that we can not boast and so we can come humbly before Him. Praise the Lord, He is always near. I am not sure I could understand a god who doesn't know me right down to my inner being. The creator knows His work and we are blessed to have that kind of hope. It can be hard to focus on the world in which we live and on the people around us and compare ourselves to them. I do not believe that is pleasing to God and like you said it can become a trap that is hard to escape. Thanks for joining us every week, Horace. I am glad to get your insight.
