Have you ever been stirred awake in the night and all the burdens of life seem to be settling in on you?
There are many let downs in this life. Your family will let you down, your job will let you down. Your kids, your spouse, your friends, your hairstylist, the gas station attendant, the waiter, the clerk at the grocery store, your computer, your phone, your cable company, all these people and things will let you down at some point in your life. You will even let yourself down at some point.
In ALL your pain, hurt and heartache, you can be assured of this; GOD will NEVER fail you, never leave you, never forsake you and never turn away from you.
He will tuck you in His wings. He will cover you with His hand over the cleft of the rock and that hard place that you seem to be stuck in. This Father will spread His arms wide open while you run to Him and He will embrace you with a Love and a peace that surpasses ALL your understanding.
He will take your heavy heart in His hands and He will make your burdens light. You can lay your tired head in His lap and He will give you rest.
If you call Him Father, If you have called Him Lord of your life, He promises you this, He will never leave you, He will never forsake you.
He is constant and consistent in His Word and ALL He says and does and He will NEVER fail you.
Psalm 9:10 Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O LORD, do not abandon those who search for you.
Psalm 36:7 How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings.
Exodus 33:22 As My glorious presence passes by, I will hide you in the crevice of the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by.
Matthew 11:28 Then Jesus said, “Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
Philippians 4:6-7 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
