NIV Adventure Bible – Polar Exploration Edition
I am so excited to bring you the new NIV Adventure Bible as part of the Gifts to Remember Series.
As your children grow you want their Bible to grow with them. Making it accessible for their growth and stages of learning. That is why I am so excited to bring you this version of a children’s Bible. With over 9 million copies sold and #1 Bible for Kids, you are going to want to add this to your list.
For my honest review, I was giving a copy of this Bible and I am so excited to be participating in this promotion and I only bring you products that I trust and think that you will enjoy.
We bought the NIV adventure Bible for our oldest son last year. It was a real gift. Bound in his favorite color and adventure in God’s Word waiting at the turn of every corner.
This bible is a gift that he treasures. For that I love it. That is why I know this would be the perfect gift for a child on your list this year. This Bible is designed for kids ages 8-12 but I would certainly think it could go beyond that age group either way. It is a full version of the NIV Bible.
Whether it be for Christmas, birthday, or just as a way to mentor a child, it makes a wonderful gift they will remember.
Features of this Bible
This is a New International Version of the Bible. It has many added features that are written with kids in mind.
The added features are included throughout the Bible along with full-color pages devoted to learning and growing deeper in the Word.
- Words to Treasure – These words in this section are key verses that make great verses for kids to treasure and hide in their hearts as they are encouraged to memorize these verses.
- Did You Know – This is for word nerds like myself. This section is full of fun and interesting facts that are found in the Bible.
- Life in Bible Times – Ever wonder why people were anointed with oil or what kind of clothing the people wore. This section provides those answers to all those inquiring questions.
- People in Bible Time – Different people throughout Bible times are highlighted in this section. We learn a little more about them so we can take a deeper look into their lives.
- Live It! – I love this section. Growing up I always thought it was just about rules. I never understood the deep need for applying God’s Word and developing a relationship with Him. In this live it section kids learn about how to apply the Bible and live truly for Jesus while cultivating a deeper relationship.
- Book Introductions – Book introductions are the best. Even as an adult I often find myself regrouping at the introduction of the book to keep my bearings about where I am at. These are great introductions and very basic for young readers.
Added Features
- 20 Full-color pages sent with an arctic theme that have inspirational activities, Bible reading plans and how-tos for the young reader. My favorite pages are the Getting to Know Jesus pages.
- Subject Index – I loved using a concordance and subject index when I was a kid. It allowed me to find information on my own when I needed to know where to turn next. So I was especially excited about this feature.
- Dictionary-Concordance – Did I mention I still have a large concordance next to my writing desk. I love this feature because I use a concordance almost daily.
- 8 Full-Color Maps –
- An Arctic theme that will fascinate the most curious minds
- Kids can also visit AdventureBible.com for free games and activities.

The verse in III John that expresses joy over knowing our children are walking with God came to mind as I read this post, and also the memory of giving each of our boys Bibles when they were in 2nd grade and could read well enough to start having devotions.
Thanks, Jaime!

I honestly don’t know a greater joy that I have than knowing people are getting to know God through His Word and my children getting to know Him, understand what His word says and learn how to apply that and make it their own. Teach them in the way they should go. Leave God to do His work through them. Thanks so much for joining us here, dear friend!

Jamie, a night of no sleep so I am visiting some of my friends. This has been a year for us as a family, but God is still good.
I wanted to request prayer. My son has cancer, and it has metastasized to his brain. This is the latest issue, and the very worst. He is my only child, and is actually not a child any longer, but, you know how mamas are.
Your website is beautiful.
