You said we need to make a commitment to be get into God's word constantly, be intentional about it. That is so important and has helped me very much in my walk with God. Except we do this and just read or study when we feel like it or it's convenient for us, we may not go very far with God. You also pointed out that the treasure we have from God should not be hoarded within us but shared liberally with others. One song by Amy Grant spoke of loving to be on the mountain worshipping God but then, the song says, if we did that all the time, how will the people in the valley know that they too can come up into the presence of the Lord and worship Him? Thank you so much for sharing this.
