It is always a pleasure stopping by here on Wednesdays. Thank you for hosting. I'm not really working on anything this summer to answer your question. But, I am trying to enjoy each day since I have summers off. Spending time with the grandchildren, seeing friends and relishing in the summer downtime.
Jaime Wiebel says
So glad you are here every week, Michelle. We try not to be "busy" people. So that is why we love doing projects. We can take our time and just enjoy it. Sounds like you have a wonderful summer planned. I hope it goes wonderful with many treasured days.

Love that God will make us new. Give us a clean heart and wash the one we were born with. How Refreshing. Thank you for stopping by every week, Liz.

Love your raised bed garden – we have one too! I love doing DIY around the house. A couple of weeks ago, hubs and I switched our bedroom door from a swing to a sliding barn door – LOVE IT! Thanks for the linkup.
Jaime Wiebel says
Thank you, Susan. We have really enjoyed making it and caring for it. Your sliding door sounds really neat. So fun when we can make things by ourselves. Thanks for sharing!

Jaime – awesome raised garden bed – totally loved the video instead of just pictures. Looks great I'm your neighbor today at #WomenWithIntention
Jaime Wiebel says
Thank you. It is fun to make videos. I am glad you enjoyed it. Glad you are visiting again this week, Debbie.

Wow – excellent garden, Jaime! Even more fun to see it begin and grow via video! EnJOY the harvest!
Jaime Wiebel says
Thank you, June. It has been really fun to build and having the resource to reuse these boards made this garden really affordable. My husband is always trying to rescue old wood. I am not always a fan. I want it to look nice from the beginning but he usually makes it turn out nicely.

Great post and slideshow video, Jaime! I love the raised garden beds! Thanks for hosting! Hope you have a wonderful week 🙂
Jaime Wiebel says
Thanks, Kelly. We have not been able to grow anything in our yard until this year. My husband has a green thumb. If left to me they may not survive, I am not a good plant mom. So glad you are here this week, friend!
Raising Samuels says
Very cool, Jaime! I don't really have a green thumb either, but I am excited to see what you all grow! Thanks for sharing your amazing party with #SocialButtterflySunday! Hope to see you link up again this week 🙂

Love this… such fun projects! After two years of being 'empty' – our girlie finally gave us the go ahead to change her old bedroom, so suddenly I have plans in my head… nothing actually mapped out or budgeted for yet – but it's TIME!
Jaime Wiebel says
That has to be tough. Not only do you feel like they are not there but it has to be hard to feel like you are just moving on. I have not had to deal with that yet, since I still have little ones.
I know my mom likes changing things around. I just moved a file cabinet out of here house after living in my own house for 11 years. A part of me wanted a piece of myself still there. Realizing they are just things makes it easier to move on. I hope you have fun with your "new" space.

I've always wanted a garden, but honestly I don't think I could take care of one more thing! So, we go to the farmers market. Maybe one day! But I do love to create, mainly with words. ☺️
Jaime Wiebel says
I do not have the green thumb at my house. I do appreciate it very much and I do what I can but it does take work. The farmer's market is easier and you are supporting local farmers so it is a win/win. Have a great week and I am glad that you are here, Alisa!

Hi Jaime, it's so good to stop by and get a peak at your garden. It must be so fun watching it grow! This summer we will be taking part in a family reunion and we're so looking forward to it. Plus, my kids are excited about the lazy days of summer when they get to sleep late and have no agenda at all. If only they knew what I have up my sleeve! 🙂
Jaime Wiebel says
Thanks so much for sharing with us. That sounds so exciting! I look forward to seeing pictures. I love surprises. We have a little weekend surprise. We had to tell our oldest son because he doesn't enjoy surprises and gets anxious. It is before our week long family vacation so I am really excited for this summer. I love the no agenda lazy days that go where ever they may. Glad you are here today, Marva and I hope you have wonderful summer.

Saw your garden. I have tried and failed. I think that I will succeed one day. Hope that you have a wonderful week.
Jaime Wiebel says
Patrick, I am glad that you stopped this week. We, too, have tried several things and they have all failed. My husband has been watching videos from a guy who does "Back to Eden" gardens. He has great lessons along with all his gardening tips. We look forward to much fruit this summer. So far, things are going great. I hope you, too, have a wonderful week!
Gayl Wright says
Enjoyed seeing your garden come together! We also have a raised bed garden with several things planted, and a few things are coming up. We are enjoying our own strawberries and blueberries. 🙂 Blessings to you, Jaime! I'm your neighbor at #DanceWithJesus.
Jaime Wiebel says
Such fun. We have a small space and our ground has not been productive so that is why we decided to go to the raised bed. Seems to be quite productive this time. Thanks so much for sharing with us. Strawberries and Blueberries sound delicious.

Hi Jaime, my husband and I have a spring and a fall garden but to be honest God is showing us that it's getting to be too difficult for us with out health problems. But my husband is determined, he had cancer in his throat and two surgeries and then chemo and radiation and on the 15th of this month they are finally going to do the PET scan to see if they got all the cancer. It's been 12 weeks since he finished his treatment but we had to wait until his throat was healed from the damage done by the radiation. I've had several back surgeries and I so regret the 3rd one that failed and they had to take out all the titanium that they put in as it was coming apart and now I have a bend in my spine that goes out and gives me a hump from the scoliosis. It's not all bad news, we have the Lord that we both love and trust in and our friends in our church and the one we were going to before but the distance was getting too far. I love my husband very much and he loves me so our marriage is good and I love reading your blogs and your garden looks great! I need one that is built raised to my waist level so I don't have to bend over. Blessings to you and your family and I'm glad you're back.
