Your little girl's words are absolutely precious! For sure, you are treasuring them in your heart. I, too, am a mom to a daughter, and I have to tell you that even when they grow up and get married, that incredible love remains. My daughter tells me all the time how much she loves me and that I am the best mom in the world (I'm NOT!). I cherish those words now just as much as I did when she was little.
Thank you for hosting this party each week. I'm glad to be a part of it.
Blessings,
Patti @ Embracing Home

Jaime I love this and need to do it NOW. Thanks for sharing. Going to check out the other site. I have two grandsons under 3 and the older one is always saying stuff that is not written down. THANK YOU!

I have so many memories of our three daughters, and now I'm storing up precious memories of our grandchildren!

I became a mom when I married my step son's dad 6 years ago (the boy was 13 then…) And I couldn't ask for a better kid- they say blending a family is not easy, but I've never had that experience. The moment I treasure most is from about 3 years ago during the invitation hymn at church, my son looked at me and said I think I'm gonna go up. He was baptized the following week ♥ Thanks for giving us such a blessed format to come here and share and encourage each other Jaime ♥

Thank you for sharing your lovely site with us here at Tell me a Story. Oh yes, do keep a "Baby book" or a hard copy journal you can write in about the precious or funny things your children say. You will forget if you don't write them down. I have some wonderful things our son said, but when baby # 2 and # 3 came along I was not so diligent. 🙁

Aw, this is touching.
It's a beautiful journey to keep track on, isn't it?

Thanks so much for this important reminder, Jaime. I actually have an annual ritual of writing a letter to each of my boys (now young men) that chronicles the past year and shares special memories and thoughts I have of each of them. They keep the letters in a notebook, to be added to each year. I've done it now for 12 years, so I hope it gives them a peek inside their mama's heart over the years. I don't feel as if they "treasure" it all that much now, but to let me know that might mean "revoking their man card!" Lol! Thanks for the linkup, the beautiful graphic and the words to follow, my friend!
