<p>You may have noticed a few changes around here. I started blogging about a year and a half ago. At that time not many people were stopping by. It didn’t really matter, though. I had started this adventure because I felt the calling from God to do something different with my ministry and I needed to be obedient.&nbsp;</p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Not knowing what that meant or how it would look, I went into this thing totally blind. &nbsp;</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
In fact, I didn’t even know what blogging was. I didn’t have a computer, the internet and I didn’t have any social media accounts. (I know, what era was I living in? It’s okay, I’ve heard it before.)&nbsp;</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I finally jumped on my tablet. Grabbed a site and started right in.&nbsp;</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The name of my site actually came from <a href="http://fuh.sak.mybluehost.me/2014/11/14/seeking-service-in-god/" target="_blank">my first post</a> and just became the name of my blog. Divine placement, I suppose. And my site address can from my email address. Don’t ask me why. &nbsp;&nbsp;</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I had started doing this from a recommendation from my husband. Yes, the one that said to me this week, “That is a lot of work.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Finally, after this long, I was able to put into words my heart&#8217;s greatest passion. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
With a shortened version of my original title and a description that spoke the words of my heart.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

<div class="MsoNormal">
<b>Seeking God In All I Do</b> has become Seeking God and Finding Our Identity In Heart of God is my greatest desire for myself and for <i>all of you</i>. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b>The inspiration</b> came from none other than my four-year-old little girl. Isn’t it funny who God will put in the right place at the right time to speak truth into our heart? </div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I, after a year and half of blogging, couldn’t get the right few words to let people know what this site is about. What I am about. What my passion for sharing God with the World Wide Web is about. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Although, I have had this conversation with many people. It took the purity, innocence and honesty of one of God’s little princesses to lay this simple phrase on my heart. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
During our family devotion the other night, which I am learning is too precious to miss, I asked my children why we read the Bible. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
My little girl looked me in the eye with her sweet little voice and said, “So we can know God’s heart.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

I had to catch my breath and keep from melting right in front of her. I kissed her sweet face and said, “That is exactly right.” How do children know what our hearts have a hard time saying?</div>

<b>Why else would we read the Bible?</b> God wants us to know His heart. The thought of that makes me overwhelmed with feelings I barely have words for. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>I was heading down the road</b> to begin my hour drive to the University Clinic.</div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
All of a sudden, I was overwhelmed with uncertainty and worry. The tears began to flow. I have been down this road before with my little guy. </div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
Some of you may have experienced something similar. You go to the doctor for a routine or not so routine visit and they look you over and their conclusion, “I don’t know.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
I don’t know how many times I have heard this from doctors. These are top-notch doctors in their field of medicine. This is not about their lack of qualifications. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
This is about a God who is not concerned with how much we know or think we know, he finds ways to remind us that He’s got this one. He knows.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
I know that doctors don’t know everything but that is one diagnosis I don’t like to hear. I want to cry out, &#8220;tell me something, anything &nbsp;at all but not, “I don’t know.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="https://i0.wp.com/4.bp.blogspot.com/-KUYezkEmEs8/VsQb8hVHHTI/AAAAAAAAQH8/ziKGS_MD1WM/s1600/Psalm40_5.jpg?ssl=1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" border="0" height="400" src="https://i0.wp.com/fuh.sak.mybluehost.me/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Psalm40_5.jpg?resize=265%2C400" width="265" /></a><br />
<b>Diagnosis &#8211; I don&#8217;t know.</b><br />
When my son was 7 weeks old, we opened a diaper to discover blood. Diagnosis, “I, don’t know.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
When he was 3 and 5 months old he had a systemic reaction to vaccinations (this is not a post about vaccinations). Diagnosis, “I, don’t know. In fact, we have never seen this before and can’t find any other cases.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
When he was 3 and 4 years old we questioned his balance and excessive falling. Diagnosis, “I don’t know.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
So here we are on another trip with Dr. “I don’t know.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
I think I am okay as long as I can get an answer. My drive alone with a small child depending on me is leaving me completely <b>overwhelmed. </b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
As I begin to quickly lay this at the feet of Jesus and cover this in tear-filled prayers, He gently reminds me, “I know.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<b>He knows.</b> I don’t know and the doctors may not know but He knows. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
I felt an overwhelming rush of peace and calmness flush through my aching heart. These words play over and over in my head like a sweet melody, He knows. He knows!</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
We can choose to be consumed by trying times. We can be overtaken with worry, regret, doubt and fear. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Or</b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
We can take comfort and relinquish this to the All-Knowing God who has already seen this all play out. In fact, He has set a path for us and marked a way&nbsp;for us to see it through.&nbsp; </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
With my son, this time, turned out to be okay and most of our “I don’t know” diagnoses have been revealed. God is awesome and always has a way of us relying on Him alone. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="https://i0.wp.com/3.bp.blogspot.com/-IQN5IuZzxoU/VsQcCP7eu5I/AAAAAAAAQIA/PXEETgaKhrY/s1600/1Corinthians8_3.jpg?ssl=1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" border="0" height="334" src="https://i0.wp.com/fuh.sak.mybluehost.me/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/1Corinthians8_3.jpg?resize=400%2C334" width="400" /></a>I hope these verses throughout were an encouragement and they speak to your heart in times like these when you, too, are in a place of uncertainty. Left with the question or the feeling of who knows. </div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">Ephesians 2:10 says: For we are God&#8217;s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.</div>
<p></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">I love this verse right from the beginning.</div>
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: right;">
<tbody>
<tr>
<td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/4.bp.blogspot.com/-lgNGoZ4RO-s/UEqFTh6tq8I/AAAAAAAAANQ/MEL1r5txJjM/s1600/giverny20bridge1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" border="0" class="mainImage" height="270" src="https://i0.wp.com/fuh.sak.mybluehost.me/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/giverny20bridge1.jpg?resize=400%2C270" width="400" /></a></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Garden in Giverny</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">When I was in college, I began to love Claude Monet paintings. I had them on my walls and would frame things that he had painted. I even had a pop-up book with his gardens and paintings in them because I love the beauty of them. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">I&nbsp;loved the serenity and relaxing themes he painted. The colors he used in the paintings gave me a sense of calmness when I looked at them. The pictures drew me in to the scene and I wanted to be in that spot. </div>
<p>This is a picture of his garden in Giverny that inspired some his paintings and some of my favorites. He created masterpieces that have been admired for generations.</p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">Ephesians 2:10 says that we are God’s masterpiece. When I think of those breathtaking paintings, it helps me appreciate all that God put into our creation. </div>
<p>
<a name='more'></a></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">Genesis 2:7 tells us&nbsp;the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground. He didn’t just speak us into existence. He took up the dirt of the ground and carefully and lovingly formed us. He cared about his creation so much that He made us His masterpiece. </div>
<p></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/1.bp.blogspot.com/-U_MENtwn6Ro/VdVvw_CHc8I/AAAAAAAADm8/rVMgVM6dbxY/s1600/Psalm13913.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" border="0" height="320" src="https://i0.wp.com/fuh.sak.mybluehost.me/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/Psalm13913.png?resize=249%2C320" width="249" /></a></div>
<p>Psalm 139:13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother&#8217;s womb. </p></div>
<p></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">When I was pregnant with our first child this verse became very real to me. The imagery of our Heavenly Father taking the time to intricately create us, to knit all our delicate parts. And with every brushstroke finally arrive at a&nbsp;masterpiece of His glorious work. </div>
<p></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt; text-align: center;">What an Awesome God! &nbsp;</div>
<p></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">In Christ, he has created us anew and not only for the sake of becoming a new creation but so we could do the good things He planned for us long ago. </div>
<p></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">Although I do not know how much time I have on this Earth, I can be sure of several things. God has my life planned for me. </div>
<p></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">Verse 10 says He planned it <em><strong>long ago</strong></em>. Long before I became a thought. Long before my grandparents became a thought, he knew the plans that He had for me. </div>
<p></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">Anyone ever unsettled about the things they cannot see? About the future they cannot foresee? </div>
<p></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">We were made anew in Christ so we could do the good things he saw for us long ago. Even though we cannot see the plans the Lord has for us, we can rest assure that He knows.</div>
<p></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">We can rest assure that He has planned good things for us. </div>
<p></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,&#8221; declares the LORD, &#8220;plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.</div>
<p></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">Many people know and love this verse. It gives them hope in a life that can sometimes seem as if it&nbsp;were filled with despair. </div>
<p></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">But listen carefully to the middle of this verse my friends, it says&nbsp;&#8220;declares the Lord.&#8221; This was not just said by anyone. This was not just in passing. This was declared by the Lord. I don&#8217;t know about you but I find it so comforting to know the Lord declared &#8220;I know your future and it is for your good.&#8221; It is for His good.&nbsp;</div>
<p></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">I often times have the children I am teaching say back to me, “And if God said, I&nbsp;believe it.”</div>
<p></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">Do you believe it for yourself? Do you believe you are a masterpiece of an Awesome Creator? In Christ, He has made you anew and has good plans for you. </div>
<p></p>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt; text-align: center;">So don’t wait another moment, Go and do the good work that He has created you to do.</div>
