What an amazing thing. To be holding baby Jesus. realizing this is the King of the World that you have rested your hope on. To know that God has chosen you to see Him. Wow. We have only a couple of people that are recorded that saw and held Jesus as a baby. What an honor to Simeon. What a blessing. Aren’t there always times. Times we want to show God’s goodness and mercy and we fall short. Every time I tell my grandma these stories about my shortcomings, she just says yes, we are all like that at some time.
